Cat's Eye Confections is a 100% vegan and gluten-free dessert business based in Durham, North Carolina. We offer scratch-made candies and confections in creative flavors, free from artificial flavors or colors. From pralines to brittles to chocolate-covered caramels, we look forward to making your vegan dessert dreams come true!

Cat's Eye Confections was started by long-time best friends Rachel Horesovsky and Moni Burgin. Having spent the last seven years owning an operating a vegan milkshake trailer together in Austin, TX (Milky Way Shakes, which we sold in October 2024), we are no strangers to the dessert business! Our time at Milky Way allowed us to try out and perfect many of the candy recipes we plan to offer at Cat's Eye, and we cannot wait to share them with you.

While we have spent most of the last decade in Austin, we are from the Triangle originally, and first became friends after meeting in our 4th grade class at Morrisville Elementary. Now that we're back, we look forward to sharing our experience and creativity with our new local vegan community!
